Alison Pavia, Executive Director of ReServe, is a recovering attorney
who has been engaged to explore and develop the ReServe project. Since
1997, she has served on the board of Riverdale Neighborhood House, a
settlement house in the Northwest Bronx, where she serves as vice
president and chairs the strategic planning, nominating and development
committees. Prior to that time she was an attorney at Pavia & Harcourt
(1992-1997) and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett (1986-1992). Alison
graduated from Brown University in 1981 and Columbia Law School in 1986.
She is a trustee of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. Alison
lives in Riverdale with her husband, Franz Paasche, three daughters, two
dogs and two cats.
Anna Collins,
Program Officer
Anna Collins received a B.A. in English Literature from the University of the South in Tennessee. She joins ReServe after living in Washington, DC, where she worked as a program officer with Meridian International Center to create professional development programs for foreign delegations participating in the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program. She has a background in publishing, including serving as promotion director for a magazine produced by the Embassy of France.
Clara Kohn,
Program Associate
Clara joined ReServe as a Program Associate in February 2005 after completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from New York University. While studying politics and metropolitan studies, Clara served as President of OXFAM at NYU and was a founding member of the ACLU at NYU. Prior to joining ReServe, Clara served as a Latin America research consultant for Global Action on Aging, helped coordinate the International Day of Older Persons conference for the UN/NGO Committee on Aging and served as an assistant at Centro Yolanda Katz, a community health provider in Caracas, Venezuela, where she was born. Clara moved to New York in 2002.
